ABOUT THE TEAM
Lightning Robotics was started 7 years ago by a group of close friends who weren't quite ready to stop competing in robotics after their team's success in the first Lego league program. They decided to move up to the first tech challenge as a result and started lightning robotics.
lightning robotics as a team has had success over the last few years, going to state 5 times and taking the 2nd alliance position at the state competition in 2021. We have won many other awards, including design awards, the motivate award, and finalist alliance awards.
More importantly than the awards and accomplishments are our beliefs and values. We are a Christian program and we try to hold ourselves to the standards of Christ. We also hold the first core values very highly, particularly gracious professionalism.
Lightning robotics is part of Lake Country Lutheran High School in Hartland, Wi. Our school is dedicated to teaching biblical truth and Christian values to students.
2021-2022 Game Strategy
Game Strategy
In our autonomous period, we will spin as many ducks as we can, then our robot will park in the shipping zone. During driver control, we will score points and work with our team mates to the best of our ability. We have an arm with a 3D printed claw, and 2 duck spinning wheels.
